In a recent post, I wrote about the importance of the 80/20 Rule. In a nutshell, the 80/20 Rule states that coaches should spend 80% of their time on the top 3-5 skills for their sport. In other words, focus on the most important skills and become GREAT at those skills. Do we really need to have 9-10 year olds learning 5 different ways to face off when they can’t catch and throw? If you were coaching a U-14 team or younger what would you want them to become great at?
For the game of lacrosse, What are the 4 most important skills needed to become a great player. Love to get some responses from our coaches!
